Although fall may not officially be here yet – Labor Day has passed, New York Fashion Week is upon us and as far as I’m concerned – adios, Summer. One of the many reasons I’ve been looking forward to fall is because I have two destination weddings to attend. I know most of you are prepping for the coming days in New York and to those of you are attending, I hope you have an amazing time. Can’t wait to read all your recaps on your blogs. As for me, I’m heading to the West Coast on Thursday. My sorority sister, my “little” sis to be exact, is getting married next month in Palm Springs. And this weekend are the bridal shower and bachelorette festivities.
I’m so excited to be reunited with a few of my sorority sisters, most of whom I haven’t seen in a few years. So, yes, I am bummed not be attending my first NYFW but when you have friendships like these that have lasted since freshman year, well, I’ll be honest, there’s nowhere else I rather be this weekend than celebrating with them. That’s not to say I haven’t done the same frantic shopping, closet rummaging and packing for my trip. And with weddings on my mind, I’ve put together four inspiration boards for all the upcoming wedding festivities. And while you never wanna upstage the bride, it doesn’t mean you can’t look fabulous on their big day.
